ABOUT THE SHOW

Purpose

CONSTRUCTOR Expo 2009 is the must-attend event for construction industry professionals interested in the latest technology and innovations in equipment, tools, products and services. The exhibition is held in conjunction with the Annual Convention of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) as a value-added service for buyers and sellers to interact and facilitate relationship building. The AGC convention provides additional networking opportunities as well as industry-focused education.

CONSTRUCTOR Expo 2009 will be held March 4-6, 2009 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California, USA.

Attendees

CONSTRUCTOR Expo 2009 targets contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, engineers and other industry professionals in areas including building and highway, commercial construction, design-build, environmental, general construction, heavy construction, industrial construction, municipal utility, information technology and specialty construction. AGC members are executive-level management decision makers.

Exhibits

CONSTRUCTOR Expo 2009 will showcase the latest equipment, tools, products and services that busy industry professionals need to operate their companies efficiently and effectively. A special focus will be on safety, security, information technologies, robotics and green initiatives.

Attendees will find new and labor saving equipment, innovative building materials, safety programs and equipment, insurance and surety solutions, required contractor services, specialized hardware, and contractor focused software and technology solutions.

Education

In conjunction with the CONSTRUCTOR Expo 2009 exhibits, AGC will offer comprehensive educational programming. A cornerstone will be the AGC annual convention sessions, which have the theme of “Let’s Build.” This education will be divided into tracks for executive management, financial management, risk management, marketing, and workforce and career development. Certification and specialized training programs will also be offered.

Background

CONSTRUCTOR Expo is held annually with the AGC annual convention except in show years of the triennial CONEXPO-CON/AGG construction and construction materials mega-exhibition. AGC co-locates its annual convention at CONEXPO-CON/AGG and is a show sponsor.
