CONSTRUCTOR Expo is a component of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Annual Convention. AGC will host its 90th Annual Convention/CONSTRUCTOR Expo in San Diego, California, March 4–7, 2009. The theme is "Let's Build."

The AGC of America Annual Convention /CONSTRUCTOR Expo draws nearly 4,000 construction executives and industry professionals each year and includes decision-makers and employees at the leading commercial construction firms in the U.S.

AGC represents all facets of commercial construction for both public and private entities including building, heavy, highway, and municipal projects.

• 37% of AGC contractors operate in the private sector, 32% operate in the public sector and 31% operate in both the private and public sectors.
• 60% of AGC general contractors and 39% of AGC specialty contractors are in commercial building.
• AGC member commercial construction firms perform over 80% of all Federal Highway Administration work.
